제목 Synthesis Electroluminescent materials, copolymerization of Poly(p-phenylenevinylene)s with 3’,3’-diheptyl-3,4-propylenedioxythiophene and poly[2-(3-dimethyldodecylsilyphenyl)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] for Light-Emitting Diodes
초록 A new electroluminescence materials were synthesized, poly(PDOT-PPV-co-m-SiPhPV), PPV derivatives with a PDOT moiety as a side chain and their copolymers, poly[2-(3-dimethyldodecylsilyphenyl)-1,4-PV] segments were synthesized using the Gilch polymerization method. The new synthesized polymers are readily soluble in common organic solvents and also easily spin coated onto the ITO-coated glass plate to obtain high quality optical thin films. The polymer is thermally stable that is why, easy to fabricated process and provides device longevity. The performance of the polymer LEDs with Alq3/LiF/Al layer cathodes was higher than that of the PLEDs with LiF/Al layer cathodes in poly(PDOT-PPV) and poly(PDOT-PPV-co-m-SiPhPV) with various monomer feed ratios. The turn-on voltages were in the range of 6-9 V and the maximum brightness and luminance efficiency were up to 5127 cd/m2 at 18 V and 3.75 cd/A at 9 V, respectively
