Recently there has been considerable interest in flexible displays as the next-generation display. As a part of flexible display, great attention has been focused on a flexible substrate because it has a key element to determine the processability, reliability and product cost of the flexible display. Glass fabric reinforced polymer(GFRP) substrates for flexible displays can be strongly recommended. So in this study, GFRPs with various glass fabrics and multifunctional UV curable resins were prepared to ensure the excellent properties like transmittance, haze, yellow index, thermal stability and chemical resistance. Also we used 3-(trimethoxysilyl)propylmethacrylate silane coupling agent for surface modification of glass fabric. The degree of cure of matrix resin was characterized by using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR) and coefficients of thermal expansion(CTEs) of GFRPs were observed by thermomechanical analysis(TMA). |
