Glycidyl azide polymer(GAP) is an energetic material, widely used as energetic thermoplastic elastomer. In the conventional methods, GAP has been synthesized by using excess azide to ensure complete reaction. In the previous research, butyrated GAP copolyols were synthesized from poly(epichlorohydrin)(PECH) by eco-friendly method. In this research, we synthesized the alkoxide and amine based GAP copolyol from PECH by controlling the ratio of azide group and nucleophile such as alkoxide and amine group. The compounds are confirmed by FT-IR and 13C-NMR spectroscopies. In addition, their thermal properties are also measured for Tg data to compare against GAP. |
