제목 Eco-friendly synthesis and characterization of carboxylated GAP copolymers
초록 Glycidyl azide polymer(GAP) contains azide groups as energetic pendant groups that release heat by exothermic decomposition. In the conventional methods, GAP has been synthesized by using excess azide to ensure complete reaction. Our studies have focused on improvement of mechanical properties of GAP and quantitative substitution reactions so that liquid wastes do not contain azide groups for eco-friendly reactions. Therefore, some nucleophiles like long-chain carboxylates (butyrate, octanoate, 2-ethyl hexanoate, isononanoate, decanoate) are introduced in GAP copolymers. These GAP copolymers are analyzed by 13C NMR, fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), gel permeation chromatography (GPC), viscosity, sensitivity, calorimetry and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA).
