Until now, liquid state electrolyte was used on Lithium ion batteries (LIBs) because its good ion conductivity. However, LIBs have safety problem such as fire or explosion by leakage of organic electrolyte. To overcome this problem the study on all solid-state polymer electrolyte (SPE) have been carried out as a solution. In this study poly(ethylene oxide) was used as element of SPEs. PEO is widely used as a source of SPEs because it has benefits as good capability and high ion conductivity. However, crystallinity of PEO polymer is the major impediment to commercialization. Therefore, in this study, polymer blend technique with other monomer using epoxide-ring opening mechanism was conducted to overcome this problem. To confirm the property, ion conductivity measurement was carried out. |
