Synthesis and electrochemical performance of LiMn0.4Fe0.6PO4 cathode active material |
초록 |
The solid-solution LiMnyFe1-yPO4 has been particularly promising since they operate at the desirable cell voltage of 3.4-4.1 V versus Li+/Li. In this work, LiMn0.4Fe0.6PO4 synthesized by sol-gel methods has been studied. An in-situ coating of carbon over the active material particles is achieved by adding citric acid as the carbon precursor in sol-gel method. The carbon coating helps to retard the undesirable particle growth during thermal treatment and improves the electrochemical performance of the active material by enhancing electrical conductivity. |
