Polysulfide-based nanofiber prepared via inverse vulcanization and electrospinning as high-capacity Hg2+ adsorbent |
초록 |
Polysulfide (PS)-based nanofiber (NF) was prepared and was evaluated to be very effective adsorbent for Hg2+ sequestration. Poly(sulfur-random-CEA) PS was prepared via inverse vulcanization. The Hg2+ adsorption properties of PS-PAN nanofiber such as isotherm, thermodynamics, and kinetics were evaluated. At 150 wt% loading of PS (S:CEA molar ratio = 2:1), PS-PAN nanofiber exhibited Langmuir isotherm and had maximum Hg2+ uptakes of 746, 840, 971, and 1025 mg g-1 at adsorption temperatures of 30, 40, 50, and 60 °C respectively. These capacities are superior to existing Hg2+ adsorbents and even comparable to current benchmark.
