Water soluble fluorescent carbon nanoparticles (FCP) obtained from polymers developed as unique materials for non-toxic bio-imaging with different colors and particles size. 1)We developed a hyaluronic acid fluorescent carbon nanoparticle (HA-FCN) and a fluorescent carbon nanoparticle (FCN) from hyaluronic acid (HA). water-dissolved HA was carbonized in a defined dehydrating agent at a control temperature, and depending on the reaction time, HA-FCN and FCN were obtained separately. 2) We developed thermoresponsive fluroscence nanoparticles based on poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) which generate bright fluorescence intensity excluding any supporting materials and favor the suitable applications. 3) Finally, we report a controlled carbonization method for efficiently preparing three different colors of FCP from a single natural mango fruit (Mangifira indica). These FCPs demonstrated identical blue (FCP-B), green (FCP-G) and yellow (FCP-Y) colors at specific excitation wavelengths. |
