Nerve Regeneration Using Schwann Cell with Hyaluronic Acid Penetrated PLGA Scaffold |
초록 |
Schwann cell (SC) can stimulate tissue sparing and enhance outgrowth of both intact and lesion axons. PLGA and hyaluronic acid have biodegradability and biocompatibili-ty. The HA/PLGA scaffold were prepared by simple method that PLGA scaffolds manufactured by solvent casting/salt leaching method soaked in hyaluronic acid solution. SCs were seeded on the HA/PLGA scaffolds. Through SEM was confirmed that HA solution was put into the pores of PLGA scaffold. HA/PLGA scaffold are similar to the PLGA scaffolds, except the pore size was slightly reduced and the surface morphology appeared to be smoother after HA modification. In MTT assay result, cell viability in HA/PLGA scaffolds were higher than PLGA scaffolds. These results suggest that hyaluronic acid provide suitable surface to neural cells and proper content affect on culture condition to improve cell adhesion and proliferation.
