제목 Effect of Nb on Co-CeO2 Catalyst for High Temperature Water Gas Shift Reaction
초록 In this study, the catalyst was prepared by changing the Nb loading(0~2.5wt.%) to improve the performance of the Co-CeO2 catalyst in the HT-WGS(High Temperature Water Gas Shift) reaction for producing high-purity hydrogen from waste-derived synthesis gas. In addition, the physicochemical properties of the prepared catalyst were investigated using BET, XRD, H2-TPR, Raman spectroscopy, and XPS analysis. The 1.5NbCo-CeO2 catalyst exhibited the highest activity (XCO=89% at 450 oC) among the NbCo-CeO2 catalysts at a very high GHSV(Gas Hourly Space Velocity) of 637,320 h-1 and maintained stability for 50 hours. This high catalytic property is attributed to its high OSC(Oxygen Storage Capacity) and Co dispersion.
