제목 Wireless Temperature and Humidity Sensors using Reduced Graphene Oxide via Tunable Reduction Method for Continuous and Real Time Monitoring
초록 Temperature and humidity are critical factors for both the living environment and human health. Therefore, real time temperature/humidity monitoring and continuous data collection through sensors are important. Moreover, high durability, stability, and accuracy are required for the sensors. Conventional sensors use complex and difficult processes with several materials to produce two types of sensors, temperature and humidity sensors. In this work, we could make both temperature and humidity sensors using a single material with simple process. We report sensing performance of reduced graphene oxide based resistive type temperature and humidity sensors fabricated by low cost and facile method. The process started with the chemical oxidation of graphite powder into graphite oxide with modified Hummer’s method, followed by the exfoliation of graphite oxide. Particularly, after that, the tunable reducing process was performed for control of surface state of graphene basal plane. Real-time monitoring of temperature/humidity and continuous data accumulation are possible through the sensors made in this way. The sensors satisfy the required performances and could be measured by wire or wireless. Additionally, the practical applications in water droplet, fine touch, breathing, and human skin temperature measurements were performed, which could lead to great potential in e-skin, disease diagnosis, healthcare, living environment, and many other fields.
