제목 | Photosensitizer Loaded Covalent Organic Framework (COF) for Multimodality Imaging Guided Tumor Photodynamic Therapy |
초록 | Covalent organic Framework (COF) has attracted wide attention in biomedical applications, owing to its intrinsic physical and chemical properties. The obtained nanometer sized COFs were dispersible and stable in water with enhanced photoluminescence properties compared to the bulk material. The nanosheets were biocompatible and non-toxic and showed ability to stain HeLa cell nuclei without additional assistance of an external targeting agent. In this work, a photosensitizer molecule, porphyrin, is loaded onto COFs via supramolecular π-π stacking. The obtained porphyrin loaded COF shows high porphyrin loading efficiency. The in vivo distribution and delivery were tracked by fluorescence imaging as well as positron emission tomography (PET) after radiolabeling of porphyrin with 64Cu. Our study identifies a role for graphene as a carrier of PDT agents to improve PDT efficacy and increase long-term survival following treatment. |
