Study on heat shield ofPEDOT:PSS composite with various additives |

Recently, many researchers are interested in transparent thermal insulating materials (TIM) for many potential demands in the various fields of industry. Conductive polymer of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) is one of the candidates for IR shielding materials. Some additives for the PEODT:PSS complex were used such as poly(ethylene glycol), HAuCl4, Carbon nanotube (CNT) and serveral Perovskite of Cs0.33W1O3, Na0.33W1O3, Na0.5W1O3, Na0.75W1O3. Particularly, we are expecting the shield enhancement of PEDOT:PSS films induced by addition of Perovskite. In this work, we prepared composite films of PEDOT:PSS with various additives by spin coating and investigated the thermal insulation mechanism according to the band gap and IR shielding characteristics. Furthermore, the dispersed phase and thickness of these films were observed by SEM and TEM. |
