제목 Microwave-assisted rapid synthesis of mesoporous hectorites in the remediation of aquatic environment
초록 Microwave(MW) heating is proficient and swift route to synthesis of inorganic materials and has become a widely accepted non-conventional protocol. The MW irradiation works through ‘in-core’ volumetric heating(direct coupling of MW energy with reaction mixture) which results in rapid and uniform temperature attainment. In this regards in present investigation deals with synthesis of Mesoporous Sythetic Hectorite(MSH) with aging the gel precursor by microwave hydrothermal treatment. The microwave assisted synthetic protocol prove the rapid synthesis of high purity of hectorite. The textural properties features of prepared material were studied various characterization techniques. The MSH based pure and modified material were applied for the efficient use to treat the wastewater contaminated with one of important pollutant of aquatic environment.
