Remote-controllable and Photo-responsive Actuating Thin Films based on Hierarchical Supramolecules of Benzene-1,3,5-Tricarboxamide |
초록 |
A hierarchical superstructure based on benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxamide with azobenzene mesogens (3AZO-BTC) was designed to fabricate remote controllable and rewritable films. The self-assembled nanocolumns were conformed by the intermolecular hydrogen-bonds of cores of 3AZO-BTC. Under the isotropization temperature, the laterally self-assembled nanocolumns were formed the low-ordered hexagonal columnar liquid crystal (LC) phase and a lamella columnar crystal phase was built at room temperature during cooling. The trans-to-cis photoisomerization of azobenzene moiety can lead to tuning the shape and color of the films. We expect this new material can used for the remote-controllable and rewritable device.
