An ultrafast response H2S gas sensor based on Fe2O3 nanoparticle from One-step Arc Discharge Synthesis |

In this work, we reported a simple approach for synthesis a Fe2O3 nanoparticle structure by facile one step arc-discharge methods. Samples were studied by X-ray diffraction, and transmission microscopy which confirms the nanoparticle formation of Fe2O3 with good crystalline.The response time and recovery times was 5s/8s for H2S gas with a concentration of 100 ppm which are much faster than those of H2S gas sensors reported in other literature. The Fe2O3 nanoparticle based sensors also showed high selectivity to H2S compared to other commonly investigated gases including NH3, NO2, H2 |
