제목 Multifunctional Shape Memory Polymers
초록 Shape memory polymer (SMP) is a smart materials that can revert back to its original shape from a temporarily fixed shape upon exposition to an appropriate stimulus. Due to substantially high elastic deformation and facile tuning of switching temperature as well as a good processibility, biofunctionality and biodegradability, the SMPs have diverse applications including smart textiles, sensors, actuators, biomedical devices or implants for minimally invasive surgery. Recently, SMP nanocomposites, which contains various type of nanofillers such as carbon based nanoparticles, noble metal or metal oxide nanoparticles, cellulose nanocrystals and others, are paid great attentions because the nanofillers can provide improved thermal and mechanical performances as well as various functionalities. This presentation overviews recent trends on the development of multifunctional shape memory polymers and their applications.
