Photocatalytic CO2 sonversion using modified copper and iron oxide mixed films. The conversion of photocatalytic CO2 using only CFO films has high selectivity for C1 production, but it has a limitation in production rate. Rapid recombination of electron-hole pairs and oxidation of copper ions due to narrow band gap. In order to prevent electron hole recombination, when the Titanium metal layer deposition, which is a hole extraction layer at the bottom of the CFO film was deposited, C1-C4 conversion occurs multiple electron transfer reaction. On the other hand, when depositing amorphous TiO2 particles on top of the CFO to improve physical conductivity, it was confirmed that the C1 production selectivity was improved and the production amount was increased compared to the CFO, ~ 2.8% STC at under simulated sunlight. Finally, deposition of Ti metal at the bottom layer and amorphous TiO2 at the top of CFO films, STC of ~ 4.11% was obtained in the formation of C1. |
