제목 Optimization of Ceramic 3D Printing Condition and Characterization of Printed Structures Using Photo-polymerization Based Material Extruding System
초록 Material extruding (ME) process is an additive manufacturing technique which uses layer by layer extrusion of supplied materials to form 3D structures based on the desired model. Frequently used materials involve ceramics, which need to have suitable rheological properties for stable and accurate printing. Lack of stable materials/pastes results in flattening of layers that lead very low printing accuracy or even collapse of structure itself. These limitations can be overcome by stabilizing the layers as they are printed, either by hardening the layers or by controlling the paste conditions. In this study, we tried to regulate the particle size of the ceramics (e.g., alumina, zirconia and β-TCP) and the viscosity of the paste with controlling of mixing ratio between ceramic powder and photo curable resin. Standard 3D structures were printed with optimal extrusion printing condition (paste viscosity, scan speed and UV exposure time) by our developed extrusion system. Stable scaffolds were sintered at specific temperatures and effect of temperature on physical properties such as linear shrinkage, density and mechanical strength were investigated.
