제목 Nanostructure and Nanopatterning from Block Copolymer Blend Films
초록 Block copolymers produce well-defined nanoscale structures such as spheres, cylinders, gyroids, lamellae, as the result of repulsive interaction between copolymer components depending on the volume fraction of components. In this work, self-assembly of block copolymer blends in thin film was investigated. The phase behavior of block copolymer blends in the bulk is well-known to be much richer than that of block copolymer alone due to much more molecular parameters and the competition of micro- and macro-phase separations. Here, two cylinder-forming block copolymers (PS-b-PEO and PS-b-P4VP) are mixed together to form thin films on the substrate, and then annealed in a solvent vapor. Nanostructure obtained in thin films shows strong dependence on molecular parameters and annealing conditions. Moreover, the ability of block in copolymers to selectively solubilize chemical agents enables nanopatterning of inorganic materials with various organizations along the nanostructure of the film.
