제목 | Evaluations of hydrogenation properties on MgHx-Nb2O5 composites by mechanical alloying |
초록 | Hydrogen, the third most abundant chemical element on earth maintains a premier position in the list of renewable fuels. The most attractive way to storage hydrogen safely and economically is in metal hydrides. Mg and Mg-based alloy are significant hydrogen storage materials. It is many advantage such as lightweight, great abundance, low cost and high hydrogen storage capacity. Unfortunately, the hydrogenation reaction kinetics are very slow and takes place at high temperature. Accordingly, we are aimed at studying the effects of transition metal oxide Nb2O5 addition. MgHx-5,10mass%Nb2O5 composites prepared by mechanical alloying under hydrogen. It make an investigation into kinetics at 423, 473, 523, 573, 623K under 1MPa and 3MPa, respectively. In this work, we are invested the catalyst effect of transition metal oxide(Nb2O5) for improving hydrogenation kinetics.
