제목 Study of Surface Property about Blending of Poly(glycerol sebacate) and Hydrophilic Acrylic Polymers
초록 Poly(glycerol sebacate) (PGS polymer) is a biodegradable polymer increasingly used in a variety of biomedical application. The polyester is prepared by polycondensation of glycerol and sebacic acid. Acrylic polymers with a low glass transition temperature are used as pressure sensitive adhesives in various application fields, such as electronics, automobiles, office automation, packing and daily necessities. The blending of PGS polymer and acrylic polymer improves adhesion of the polymer and can control the hydrophilicity. In this study, we have studied on hydrophilicity control by blending of poly(glycerol sebacate) and acrylic polymer. In order to improve miscibility with PGS polymer, we synthesized acrylic polymer with hydrophilic properties. Blending properties of PGS polymer and acrylic polymers were characterized Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Atomic Force Microscope (AFM), Peel Tester and Contact Angles Analyzer.
