제목 Redox-sensitive Bioimaging Probe and Controllable Paclitaxel Drug Carrier Based on Disulfide-crosslinked Hyaluronic Acid
초록  A redox-sensitive controllable release of hydrophobic drug was synthesized from carbonization of disulfide cross-linked hyaluronic acid followed by attachment of MnO2 nanosheets as responsive fluorescent “off/on” bioimaging probe.  The encapsulation of fluorescence nanoparticle (FNP) by MnO2 reduces the system fluorescence intensity due to Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) allowing quenching to the system (fluorescent “off”). In the presence of glutathione (GSH), MnO2 undergo reduction process to form Mn2+ while cleaves the disulfide bond resulting in the release of paclitaxel (PTX) from PTX-MnO2/FNP and increase the fluorescence intensity (fluorescent “on”). Overall, the synthesized PTX-MnO2/FNP structure can serve as a smart drug carrier with the combination of diagnostic and therapeutic properties promising great potential for medical applications.
