In situ self-assembly of collagen fibers integrated with a hydrophobically-modified 3D networked microporous gel |
초록 |
There is increasing evidence that matrix stiffness and permeability modulates various phenotypic activities of cells surrounded by three-dimensional (3D) matrix in native tissue. Therefore, we hypothesized that a collagen assembled with the improved structural integrity in dermis layer would regulate dermal fibroblasts activities to remodel, repair, and recreate skin dermis. This study examines the effects of hydrophobically-modified 3D networked microporous gel on enhancing the structural integrity of the collagen assembly and further regulating the morphology, growth rates, and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) production of dermal fibroblasts. |
