Dielectric properties of the three-phase nano composite films consisting silver nanoparticles completely immobilized onto the silica particles embedded in the polymer film matrix |
초록 |
A novel kind of polymer composite with the silver nanoparticles completely immobilized onto the silica particles as fillers provides not only a uniform dispersion in polymer matrix but also the possibility of tuning the dielectric properties. The crucial procedure of forming fillers’ structure includes surface treatment of silica core particles by (3-aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMS), in situ formation of Ag nanoparticles, and immobilization of the Ag nanoparticles onto the surface of the silica colloids via functional group NH from the APTMS. The microstructures of polymer matrix and silver nanoparticles on the surface of the SiO2 nanospheres were characterized by Field-Emission Scanning Electron Microscope and Transmission electron microscopy. As the volume fraction of composite spheres, the Absorption spectra of polymer composite colloids were carried on UV−vis spectroscopy. The composite spheres were embedded into the polymer film matrix by utilizing conventional spin coating technique. The dielectric properties of the three-phase nano composite films showed deviation in permittivity. Electric field distributions, percolation phenomena, local polarization behaviors within the composite structures were considered and discussed. |
