Because the bandgaps of nanocrystals are determined by their size, it is very important to regulate the size of the nanocrystals in order to achieve the basic colors of red, green and blue in the display. However, There is difficulty in band gap size. In this study, the monodentate amine ligands coordinated on the surface of InPZnS nanocrystals are substituted with bidentate dithiocarbamate ligands having a strong coordination ability and electrically resonant structures, so that the nanocrystal can be finely tuned to control the emission spectrum. The PL spectrum also shows that the emission wavelength of the new nanocrystals is increased by about 20 nm, indicating that the active region of the excitons extends not only to the nanocrystals but also to the non-localized dithiocarbamate ligands. |
