In the past decades, with the development of printing, it can be used in a variety of ways in the manufacture of wearable devices and aerospace. The waste of material resources can be secured by printing, and it can be easily applied to different properties simply by changing the material. Therefore, many users are manufacturing devices using methods such as screen printing and lithography. However, compared to these conventional printing technologies for flexible electronics, inkjet printing technology has a lot of advantages including reduction in human and material resources, compatibility with a variety of substrates, low cost, and flexibility. In the manufacture of devices using inkjet printing, the development of energy storage devices is receiving the most attention. As an energy storage device of a wearable device, an electrical double-layer capacitor (EDLC) is emerging most promisingly having low-cost, high-power density, and long cycle life. Thus, if EDLCs and inkjet printing are combined, a synergy effect can be achieved by maximizing the excellent stability and longevity of EDLC, and the resource efficiency and giving a free-form factor by precise printing. |
