제목 Fabrication of Heat Insulating Microcapsules with Organic & Inorganic Particles for Heat Insulation System
초록 In recent years, interest in insulating materials such as glass fiber, cellulose, and foam has been increasing in the building industry. Especially, thermal insulating performance which is not restricted to the shape of the plastic insulation is good in efficiency, and thermal insulating microcapsules are also highly preferred in industries.In this research, we fabricated microcapsules attached to the outer of microcapsules, which greatly improved the thermal properties by tuning the size of inorganic particles. In order to prepare microcapsules with inorganic particles, polyurethane microcapsules containing PCM were prepared and to self-assemble the inorganic particles, the outer wall of the microcapsules was negative ionized. We expect these microcapsules will not only lower cost of insulating materials but also improve thermal insulating performance, and that the PCM microcapsules, which were limited to insulation materials, could be applied to other applications in real life.
