The convergence of nanotechnology, biotechnology, and information technology is transforming global society. Converging Technologies is a term which is widely used in areas where different or similar technologies address the same area segment. Technological convergence is beginning to define the way chemical engineer interact, the way the global economy is run. International Patent Classification is a hierarchical patent classification system used in over 100 countries to classify the content of patents in a uniform manner. This study the technical classification and main technology in each year for 2,000 patents registered since 1970 to date and analyzed the tendency of patent application in the future. KR had been continuously made application until the latter half of 2000 since the registration in 2001. And then, the number of patent registration cases has rapidly grown since 2007. USG registered patent was begun application in 1990. US had many patents that was converged technology in various fields. |
