제목 The effect of intumescent agent and nanoclay contents on fire resistance and mechanical properties of EVA based composite
초록 The manufacturing process is simple, cost less, EVA good sound absorbing properties, the insulation is often used as an automobile interior material or building. Due to the nature of the applications, the characteristics of the fire is important interior material, by this, research to reduce the maximum heat realize rate (MHRR) by research on EVA has been actively. But when it comes to make a composite material can be added to EVA an intumescent agent to improve the fire properties of the EVA, so that the mechanical properties of EVA composite decreases. Therefore, in this study, with the addition of nanoclay to complement the mechanical properties of adding the intumescent agent in order to reduce the MHRR of the existing EVA was reduced due to the intumescent agent which is added, EVA composites made. To evaluate the fire properties of the composite were measured heat realize rate a through Cone calorimeter test, tensile tester, and was then evaluated for mechanical properties.
