Hydrofluoric acid (HF) and Hydrochloric acid (HCl), a typical acid, have been used in the industry for their various usage and classified as the toxic compound, because they can cause the pneumonia and pulmonary edema when it was exposed to respiratory organs. For the chemical removal of HF and HCl acids exposed in the industry, the Foam filter with aminated ion exchanger was prepared and the adsorption behavior of HF and HCl on filter was investigated. In this study, Amount of adsorption and phenomena were confirmed and the adsorption was investigated in the mixture solution of HF and HCl. HCl adsorption rate with time is higher than the HF. The amount of adsorbed HF and HCl increased with increasing initial concentration of HF and HCl. The adsorption breakthrough time in the low concentration of HF and HCl were faster than high concentration and discuss that Mathematical Isotherm Models about HF and HCl adsorption. |
