제목 Fabrication and Characterization of CP Actuator based on PPy-ionophore Composite Film for Ion Selective Sensor
초록 Conducting polymers (CPs) are unique in that they have switchable properties due to their two or more mechanically stable oxidation state. The intriguing application is the use of CP as actuators that can expand and contract via the reversible counter-ion insertion and expulsion in an electrolyte when a voltage is applied. Meanwhile the selective detection of specific ion is important problem in solution for environmental monitoring, process control, and medical field. However ion selective sensor that can detect the specific ion has defects which are lack of manufacturing technique in matrix, high price, and complicated usage. Therefore, from remarking the importance of specific ion detection in solution and the potential of CP actuator as an ion selective sensor material, we investigated the optimum polymerization condition of PPy-ionophore composite film depended on the change of ionophore concentration and the possibility of CP actuator as an ion selective sensor.
