Structural and dielectric properties of PbTiO3/PbZrO3 superlattices on different substrate |

PTO/PZO artificial superlattice was fabricated by pulsed laser deposition (PLD) on different substrate, i.e. on MgO(100) and SrTiO3(100) substrate. The structural and dielectric properties were investigated in our experiment. The structure analysis of PTO/STO superlattice was accomplished by Synchrotron x-ray diffraction. The PTO/PZO superlattice grown on both the substrate was grown epitaxially and exhibited satellite peaks symmetric around a main peak. Reciprocal space mapping (RSM) showed the perfect single c-domain configuration. To investigate the dielectric properties, capacitance-voltage measurement was carried out by HP4194A impedance analyzer. The electrical properties of the superlattice were investigated as a function of the stacking period. We will discuss the change of the structural and electrical properties with various stacking periods. Due to the lattice strain between the PTO and PZO layer, more enhanced dielectric property was also shown on the STO substrate. |
