제목 | Biomass-derived Nitrogen-doped Carbon Coating for Improving Electrochemical Performances of Li[Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1]O2 |
초록 | Lithium ion batteries (LIBs) with a high energy density and power density have been used for electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) as renewable energy systems. Li[Ni0.8Co0.1Mn0.1]O2 (NCM811) is regarded as a promising cathode material due to its higher capacity. However, high content of nickel result in decrease of cycling performance and thermal safety. Herein, we report the surface modification of Ni-rich layered cathodes with the nitrogen-doped carbon derived from biomass, which is a low cost, and systematically investigated the effect and influence of coating the biomass-derived nitrogen-doped carbon over the electrochemical performances of NCM811. |
