Photocatalytic degradation of Methylene Blue dye using TiO2 mounted MWCNT composite |
| 초록 |
Activated carbon adsorption and photocatalysis using TiO2 are widely used for the removal of toxic organic compounds. In this present study, a composite material was prepared integrating the above two methods. MWCNT was mounted with TiO2 made from hydrolysis of TiOSO4 by sol-gel process followed by thermal treatment. The photocatalytic activity (UV light, 23 W) of the prepared composite catalyst was monitored by measuring the decrease in the concentration of 10 ppm MB dye. |
