제목 | Effect of collector condition on the pore structure of electrospun nonwoven mats |
초록 | Electrospun nonwoven mats have a fiber with diameters in the range of few nanometers to tens of micrometers and have a high surface-to-volume ratio. The high surface area of elecrospun nonwonven mats is useful in various applications, especially scaffolds, nanoparticles and filtration applications1-2. The presence of pores on the surface of electrospun nanofiber plays a great role in increasing the surface-to-volume area. For elecrospinning process, some polymers have a porous structure when used high- volatile solvents like a dichloromethane3. Varying the collector condition, the diameter, depth, and distribution of porous structure is controllable. The objective of this research is to study the effect of varying collector condition on pore size and distribution. The characterizations of surface morphology were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM).
