제목 CFD analysis of combustion in stoker type furnace to improve its combustion efficiency
초록 The increasing cost of experimental setup has led to the increasing popularity of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) due to lower cost and acceptable accuracy with minimum error. Especially for newly developed model, the computational testing using CFD software will reduce a lot of trial and error on experimental work. The CFD analysis of stoker type furnace with air flow was conducted. The experimental data obtained from the field experiment will be used to tune the simulation results. Porous medium will be used to simulate the solid waste region. The simulation was carried out using ANSYS 17.0. MSW height used in this study is 300, 400 and 500 mm. Temperature, velocity, pressure and CO2 contour was obtained to study the combustion pattern.
