제목 Synthesis and study on photocatalytic hydrogen evolution of TiO2 based NTs by in-situ liquid cell TEM
초록 Compared to TiO2 based nanoparticles (NPs), TiO2 based nanotubes (NTs) have been widely used in water splitting because of their ordered tubular structure, strong ion‐exchange ability, relatively longer lifetime of electron/hole pairs. Beside, hydrogen is considered as an environmentally friendly energy source to replace fossil fuels. So, photocatalytic hydrogen evolution through water splitting is one of the most attractive solar fuel production strategies because it can convert solar energy into H2 by using another natural resource: water. However, the power conversion efficiency from solar to hydrogen by TiO2 nanotubes photo/photoelectro‐catalytic water splitting is still low. So, understanding the reaction pathways of photocatalytic hydrogen evolution at the liquid electrolyte/TiO2 interface is of crucial importance for developing clean renewable energy technologies.
