Development of hybride BPEI- SNT as an efficient gene delivery carrier and imaging agent |
초록 |
We developed a hybrid polymer-silica nanotube(SNT) for dual purpose: an efficient gene delivery carrier and imaging agent. The outer surface of the SNT was covalently conjugated with cationic polymer, branched polyethylenimine (BPEI, MW 1.8k), so that it would easily load pDNA and transport the cargo into the cells. Additionally, the inner space of the SNT was filled with iron oxide nanoparticles and green fluorescent quantum dots. These two caged materials could be used simultaneously for imaging the cell with internalized SNT by MRI, as well as by fluorescence. |
