Adsorption of divalent metal cations on cyclam/nanofiber composites |
초록 |
Cyclam (1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane) is known for its good affinity towards Cu(II) and Ni(II). For its selective metal capture, cyclam can be employed as an adsorbent but must be immobilized to an appropriate support. Herein, a cyclam derivative was blended with various polymeric supports like polyacrylonitrile (PAN), polysulfone (PSF), polyvinyldiene fluoride (PVDF), and polyvinylchloride (PVC), and were electrospun into mechanically stable nanofibers (NF). The NF which exhibited the highest adsorption capacity with the least matrix effect was found the most suitable adsorbent for metal capture. This research was supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) funded by the Ministry of Science, ICT and future Planning (2015R1A2A1A15055407 and 2017R1A2B2002109) and by the Ministry of Education (2009-0093816). |
