Fabrication of water-stable Mo/MoO2 nanoink-coated carbon cloth as flexible anode for Li-ion batteries |

It is essential to prepare flexible electrodes via a simple fabrication process for flexible/bendable electronics in rechargeable battery systems. Herein, we design and fabricate high-performance flexible electrodes with water-based Mo/MoO2 nanoink covered on carbon cloth (MM@CC) to enable facile Li+ diffusion and electron conduction network. As a flexible and binder-free anode for Li-ion batteries, MM@CC exhibits highly reversible capacity of ca. 1.65 mA h cm-2 (calculated by gravimetric capacity of 981 mA h g-1) at a high current density of 1.66 mA cm-2, even after 100 cycles. This work highlights a facile approach to the flexible electrodes for enabling high-power and long-life Li-ion batteries. |
