제목 Improvement of Electrochemical Properties of LiMn2O4/Silicon-Graphene Oxide Composite Cathode Materials for Lithium-ion Battery
초록 In this work, LiMn2O4/Silicon-reduced graphene oxide (LMO-Si/RGO) composites were fabricated by using a solid-state method for applying positive electrodes in lithium ion batteries. The LMO-Si/RGO composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy. Their electrochemical properties were investigated using cyclic voltammetry, impedance spectra, and charge–discharge tests. The silicon not only suppressed the surface corrosion caused by decreasing H+ concentration in the electrolyte but also acted as a barrier between the LMO particles and the LiPF6 electrolyte, thereby preventing the dissolution of Fe2+ in the assembled structure and enhancing the electrolyte/active material interaction. Also, reduced graphene oxide has a play as a conductive material. All of these led to the fast kinetics of lithium ion transfers and excellent positive electrode performance. LMO-Si/RGO delivered the best electrochemical performance with a capacity of 135 mAh g-1.
