Boil off gas(BOG) handling in liquefied natural gas(LNG) receiving terminal |
| 초록 |
Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is one of the promising clean energy sources. When LNG is transported and stored in a LNG receiving terminal, LNG is unavoidably vaporized generating Boiled-off gas (BOG) due to the inflow of heat. BOG generated by vaporized LNG has 600 times the volume than the volume of LNG. BOG is able to cause physical damage and loss of LNG. This study presents BOG handling method in LNG receiving terminal. This method is applied to LNG receiving terminal case which is assumed. It reduces operating cost in LNG receiving terminal.
