제목 | Selective Growth of Silver Nanostructures on Graphene Patterns |
초록 | Owing to unique properties such as excellent electric conductivity, good optical transparency, high mechanical flexibility, etc., make graphene become a wonder material that promises much in a variety of applications in many fields. Recently significant work in the synthesis of graphene–metal nanostructure hybrid films, in which metallic silver has attracted considerable attention, has been carried out in order to improve and enhance the mechanical, optoelectronic properties, electrochemistry and catalysis of the hybrid films. For synthesis of metal nanostructures on graphene film, chemical reduction method is the most popular strategy because of its efficient, rapid, low-cost and low-temperature processing. However, difficulties in controlling the selective growth of metal nanostructures on graphene to make well-designed in the hybrid films. Therefore, the development of directly and selectively synthesis of metal nanostructures on graphene remain a challenge. In this study, silver nanostructures were direct and selective growth on graphene pattern via chemical reduction method. Firstly, high quality graphene films were prepared by inductively-coupled plasma chemical vapor deposition (ICP-CVD) method. Graphene film was then transferred onto substrate for making the pattern with desire design. Silver source from silver nitrate solution was reduced and selective growth on the graphene pattern through using sodium citrate as a reduction agent. Thermal treatment was employed in the range of 100 to 300 oC to stabilize crystalline of silver nanostructure on graphene. The morphology of the silver nanostructure and the hybrid film was determined by optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) were used to investigate the crystalline quality of silver nanostructures. We will further discuss the results of reduction process and selective growth of silver nanostructures on graphene. |
