Improvement Effect of Lithium Tetrachlorogallate of Electrolyte for High-rate Capacity of Li/SOCl2 Cells |
초록 |
A Li/SOCl2 cell is an attractive primary battery with high specific energy, long shelf life, and a relatively long operating life. Practical uses for this cell is as power sources in the low-rate applications that require long operating life such as memory backup. Recently, however, there is a big requirement to improve the high-rate capacity in the various field of RF-ID applications. The electrolyte of Li/SOCl2 cells acts as the active material and plays a significant roll for high-rate characteristics. This study shows the method to improve the characteristics of electrolyte using the lithium tetrachlorogallate(LiGaCl4) comparing to the traditional lithium salt. |
