Polymerization by UV curing of monomers based on sulfonylimide for Lithium battery |

Ultraviolet (UV) curable electrolyte has received attention because of chemical stability without a solvent. We are aiming to make an electrolyte with a Li cation attached to an acrylate that can do UV curing, not a polymer electrolyte of the addition form of Li. Fluorosulfonyl isocyanate (FSO2NCO) was used to synthesize reactive FSI-type materials. This could expect a high ionic conductivity due to electron attractor effect. A polymer with a lithium cation has a hydrophilic group in the polymer matrix and can form a wide channel that smoothly moves the lithium cation. In addition, a polymer electrolyte having thermally stable properties. Isocyanate was reacted with acrylamide and created a urea form which can make the structure to increase further portion of lithium ions. We studied the fundamental analysis and electrical analysis for Li battery. FT-IR, photo-DSC, TGA and 1H NMR spectroscopy are employed to characterize the electrolytes. |
