제목 Bioconversion of lignin monomers to styrene derivatives using phenolic acid decarboxylase from Bacillus amylolichefachiens in two phase reaction system
초록 Phenolic acid decarboxylase (PDC) catalyzes non-oxydatively p-coumaric acid to4-hydroxy styrenethatis useful for industrial application. Virtual screened PDCs have been over-expressed in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3), and purified PDCs were preparedto compare their activities.Kinetic studiesrevealed thatPDC from Bacillus amylolichefaciens showed a 1.5-fold higher specific activity than that ofreported Lactobacillus plantarum for p-coumaric acid. Productivity of recombinant E.coli strain shows 1.44 mmol/min/g (dcw). To extract 4-hydroxy styrene continuously during the reaction at high substrate concentration, biphasic reaction systemwere applied with n-hexane as organic solvent.
