Nowadays, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) have been required for stability and long lifespan as an electric vehicles (EVs) battery. So, the TiO2-based anode are drawn attention for LIBs. As an anode material, TiO2 has the similar theoretical capacity (330mAh/g) to graphite (372mAh/g). However, the performance of TiO2, called P25, which is currently commercially available, is not satisfactory. So, we have been tried to synthesize TiO2 for LIBs. In this study, the TiO2 materials were synthesized using a porous material as a hard template. And the newly synthesized TiO2 was applied as an anode material for LIBs and has a higher performance compared to P25, LTO (Lithium titanate) and LR TiO2(Lotus-Root TiO2, which was previously reported). |
