제목 A Simple Synthesis of Core-crosslinked Micelles Having Poly (acrylic acid) Corona and Polystyrene Core via RAFT Polymerization
초록 Core-shell interface crosslinking was investigated with two types of amphiphilic poly(acrylic acid)-b-polystyrene (PAA-b-PS) copolymer. Star-like micelles of PAA69-b-PS38 and crew-cut aggregates of PAA69-b-PS134, consisting of PS cores and PAA coronas, were formed by direct dissolution of the copolymers in ethanol. The crossed-linked micelles were formed by core-shell interface crosslinking reaction via RAFT polymerization of divinylbenzene (DVB). The spherical morphology of the core-crosslinked micelles was observed in the TEM images. The morphology of the crosslinked particles followed the initial micellar morphologies of the block copolymers, but particles tended to interconnect each other due to the inter-micellar crosslinking reaction. The concentration of DVB was a determining factor in the morphology of the nanoparticles from PAA69-b-PS38.
