제목 Preparation and Characterization of Deoxycholic Acid-Conjugated Low Molecular Weight Water-Soluble Chitosan Nanoparticles for Hydrophobic Antifungal Peptide carrier
초록 To develop the carrier of hydrophobic antifungal petide based on Low Molecular Water Soluble Chitosan (LMWSC). LMWSC was chemically modified with Deoxycholic acid (DA) which in one of bile acid as a hydrophobic group. The nanoparticles (LMDA) using DA conjugated LMWSC were characterization using dynamic light scattering(DLS) and transmitance electron microscope (TEM). The loaded peptide as an antimicrobial peptide LMDA nanoparticles (LMDA-A2) were prepared. The release of drug from nanoparticles was slow and showed sustained release characteristics. Based on the results of release study that the higher DA contents in LMDA, the slower the releasing rate, the LMDA-A2 could be used as an exellent antifungal peptide carrier.
